Aerides houletttiana compare with Aerides falcata
 

It's Aerides season now. As seen previously, it's not always easy to know wich Aerides we have between houlettiana and falcata : the species are very close. I have both species who are blooming these days. It was not so easy but I could take flowers of each species on a same pict.
On the left is houlletiana and on the middle and the right falcata. The most easy way to know what specie you have is by colour : yellow for houlletiana and white for falcata. But sometimes, some flowers of houlettiana are very yellow light colored. Then, the only thing you can do is to check carefuly the shape of the flowers who are not the same too.
The second pict is falcata only as I posted houlletiana previously.

Both really pretty species :cheer:
