Will Sharry Baby Rebloom

Will Sharry Baby rebloom from an old spike or do I cut it off? There is another spike shooting up and growing like a weed so I thought I would cut the old one that's lost most of the flowers. But wanted to check with you all first! Thanks.

i doubt it, i have never heard of any orchids reflowering from the same spike except Phals.
but then again, best to check with the more experienced growers of sharry baby

Sharry Baby will not rebloom off an old spike - you can leave it til its dead or cut it - I always leave stems til they are dead - but thats just me.

There are other types besides phals that rebloom on spikes - tolus and psychopsis being the two I know. And some paphs are sequential bloomers - the spike continues to grow and develops new buds
never hurts to ask :)

it will bloom as long as you have the right requirement. watering, lighting, feeding and air circulation.

but not off the same spike!

Yep, you can just cut it off, it won't do anything more! They don't even continue to extend like phal or paph spikes do.
