Once the poll is closed, we will try to locate the winning plant in enough quantity here in the U.S.
If we cannot acquire that plant in the numbers we need here, then we'll check into the next highest vote count and then...well, you get the idea ;)

Interesting!

There is no clear frontrunner after 17 votes :hmm

So hard to decide!

whygreenberg 04-10-2009 06:42 PM

Hmmm...very very difficult! Is it ok to vote politically? Thank goodness we only have a two-party system in the government! Kidding. But still...

Geez, maybe I'm in the minority, but my vote was incredibly easy.

cb977 04-10-2009 08:24 PM

Thanks everybody...keep 'em coming! If everybody involved votes early, we can get a head-start on things ;)

As of right now, the vote count for Paph spicerianum is incorrect. It shows 3 votes but only 2 of them are valid. There is no way for me to eliminate invalid votes so I am keeping track of it in my paperwork.

*Paph spiceranium has 2 votes, not 3.

I got responses today from Greg at Oak Hill, Marguerite at J&L and Kathy at Tropical Orchid Farm. No word from Andy yet.

Quote:

from Greg: Only two of the plants listed below do we have in quantities of 42 or more. They are the spiceranum and the Haraella retrocalla.
Quote:

from Marguerite: Right now we can supply enough of the Den aberrans
Quote:

from Kathy: The only plant we may be able to supply (in the future-say 5 or 6 months)
would be the Den. aberrans.
