Paph. 'Angels's Flight' (photo update on 2nd pg)

Paph. 'Angel's Flight' (Alma Gavaert 'HB' x philippinense v. alba)

Sorry, but this is the best picture I can get of this one. Wish I had better photography skills. I could have cropped its friends out of the picture, but I thought you guys might like to see them anyway.

Thanks Tindo. The one on the left is Phal. Brother Purple x Carmela's Pixie and the one on the right is a seedling of Dtps. Everspring Prince 'Lee'

Nice Barbara - thanks! I appreciate you leaving the Phals. in the picture.

Toddybear 01-10-2007 05:58 AM

What a beauty

I'm glad you didn't crop the picture  Are you providing supplemental light?

I HAVE to learn how to grow paphs. I have a couple, but they do absolutely nothing!! But that's a story for another day.

I do provide fluorescent light (4ft. gro-lights) since it is so dark here in the winter. Paphs won't flower until they are 'blooming size' which can take a few years. Multi-florals can take considerably longer! And they really resent stale growing media.

Wonderful flower! I also like that you showed the plant as a whole. Many of the images posted here leave me wondering about the plant as whole. Especially the overall size. I also really like the dark red of the Phal on the left - very pretty flower.
