Anyone know the name of this Phal.??
 

So I picked up another one on clearance at Stop & Shop. Any ideas of the what the name of this Phal. could be? The only pics I could find online that look similar to this Phal. are "Oriental Love" or "Memoria Maria Callas"......

It's a very pretty phal! :) Unfortunately most hybrid phals are next to impossible to identify as there are so many nearly indentical hybrids. Usually the best anyone can do is find a close match!

If you find a close match, though, it should be indicated on any name tag that this is only a guess, since the information will otherwise be misleading if the plant is ever exhibited or judged.

I don't plan on entering a show, I just like to hear everyone's guesses. There should be a forum called "Name that Phal."

Christina .. bring it up to Marty .. and if enough members are interested .. he'll make a forum specifically for it ;)

Whoops, I didn't know. "Name that Phal" sounds more like a game show anyway! Ha ha!

I have a similar Phal , just opened as a matter of fact . Mine is caled Elegance Spots.

So I think I figured it out. Phalaenopsis "Wild Thing" described on Easy Orchids as -Deep pink/purple densely packed speckles on white background, overall effect is dark pink. I'll post the webs pic and my pic.

Looks a lot like I Hsin Sun Beauty to me. The texture on Sun Beauty is good and the flowers last a long time. Big flowers, white is very white, and spots are brilliant. Lovely thing.
