Cattleya intermedia var. caerulea orlata 'Gnomos'
 

"Orlata" refers to the accentuated coloring on the frontal borders of the lateral lobes. I had been confused by this term for a long time until Mauro Rosim kindly explained it for me on another forum.

This is the current flowering of the plant referenced in the "Scientific Matters" section.
