If it is the species is aclandiae if it is a hybrid then it colud be Acklandiae.

What I meant to say was that if somebody made a hybrid it could had been named Acklandiae but the species correct name is aclandiae; written in lower case and without the k. This is unless both acklandiae or aclandiae refers to the same species.

In either case it is the species, usually written with a lower case initial letter. The RHS acknowledges both spellings, aclandiae or acklandiae, though the former is most common.

I like the dark aclandiae! Very cool!

Acklandiae would actually be the more correct spelling since the species is named for Lady Ackland, wife of Sir Thomas Ackland, first to grow and flower the species in cultivation.
