repotting question

I have a Pot. Nonthaburi 'Sweet Valentine' currently in sh and in full bloom. A new pseudobulb is about 2 inches in length. The growth is beginning to grow out of the sh pot. Is is OK to transfer to a larger pot at this time. I know to have new roots when first putting into sh, but how about when repotting? This plant is gorgeous and I don't want to do anything to jeopardize it. The current sh roots are so thick they are distorting the sides of the current sh pot. Any advice would be appreciated. Pull it out of the current pot, and place it in a bigger one, filling in the void space with new medium.

Done - and with no stress to the plant.
