C. percivaliana
3 Attachment(s)
I believe this is this plant's first blooming. I've had it for about 7-8 months, but it doesn't look like it has bloomed before. This is C. percivaliana 'Albert's' x C. percivaliana, I love the lip on this one. It's a good thing I got a few decent pictures, because it fell backwards (off the stand) while I was photographing. Now one of the petals has some damage, after it's two foot, backward somersault. So I'm sorry that I can not say "No orchids were harmed in the photographing of this flower".

Very pretty...what's the fragrance like?
|
Surprisingly, it has a very faint scent.....especially since my B. little stars is only about 8' away. It's hard to smell anything over that nodosa hybrid!
|
I think my Little Stars is dead :bua:

That's a pretty flower. I like the clearness of the phototaking. Sorry your plant got hurt.

Jasen - absolutely beautiful orchid. I just love the frilly lip and the coloring thereof. Nice job of growing. It's a beauty for sure.
|
Beautiful one Jasen! I love those frilly trumpet shaped lips!
|
best looking lips i,ve seen for a long time!
|
Very nice!
I have a plant of the clone 'Albert' but it has never bloomed since I got it 3 years ago. Compared with other clones, Albert seems not to be a reliable bloomer here. |
 Those lips are almost as good as my wifes:rofl:
Great plant by the way. |
