Cattleya leopoldii var. xanthina 'Awá'
 

Lucky me again! Yesterday I was surprised with this beautiful yellowish variation! The lip is sort of yellowish too (see detail on the second link), far different from the pure white as in the alba variety. The interesting is that the leaves also are a little more yellow, less green than the other leopoldii I grow exactly under the same conditions.

Mauro, I do like this one but I think the first one is my favorite. I really Liked it!

Debs, I also think the green beautiful! Actually, I love all my leopoldii!! :D The thing with this yellowish is that it probably is unique, I mean I have seen many leopoldii in my life but nothing in this color before! Right, it is not egg yolk, but for a leopoldii I think it is a very different color! And that's why orchids are fun, there are for every taste, don't you think?
