Seen near the CREW Marsh hiking trails in Collier County, FL in late June.

Love the native orchids. We had Spiranthes growing in our lawn in Houston. Here in Washington we have to look for them in the mountains.

Wow... the variation in orchids is amazing. I wouldn't have realised it was an orchid if I had seen it in the wild.

It's beutiful.

Gorgeous orchid, the spiraling spike is awesome. We have Spiranthes spiralis here, which looks nearly identical. I love the natives they are so different from the tropical orchids that we grow.
