Better pics of B. cucculata in bloom
1 Attachment(s)
Here are some larger and better pics, as requested, of the bloom and the plant. I received this plant 6 months ago and it was overgrowing a plastic pot which was inside a clay pot. I placed it in this octagonal basket with wine corks and a little sphag to stabilize the pot as there was no way I could get it out of the old pots without destroying the roots. Now I have significant new root growth and some new leaf growth, as well. As mentioned in the previous post, the bloom was a surprise.
Even using the lowest resolution on my camera, I cannot get both photos on the same post, so I will add the second on a subsequent post. Hope that's okay. Gregg |
That's absolutely stunning! i HAVE to get one of those next time i place an order at Oak Hill!

Gregg, don't know what software you are using to resize your pics but I use Photoshop and it works very well for resizing to 1024 x 768 for this board. I also upload to Photobucket and then paste a link directly in my post and the pics are even bigger! BTW you flower is beautiful!!!!!!

Greg,
Beautiful photo! :yikes: I love the way you used lighting to bring out the details of this beauty's form and textures. |
