BLC. Apache Sunrise (Apache Gold x nodosa)
This knocked my socks off when I first saw it in bloom.The petals are a grassy green but photo shows more yellow than it is in person.Huge flower.

Very nice indeed! Love the contrast between lip and petals/sepals. My socks didn't fall off tho they did slide down some. Ha! Ha!. Nice growing.

Okay--okay--I just limped out to the greenhouse in the dark LOL (knee problems) & measured for everyone. :bowing .From top petal to bottom of the lip 6" & from tip to tip of lateral petals also 6" so I would say 6" flower.

That is one large, beautiful flower. I have Blc. Keowee 'Mendenhall' and 'Newberry'. They flowers are similar but they don't compare to the size of that one.
