Miltonia clowesii f. peloric
Flowering for the second time this year this weird peloric form of Miltonia clowesii. In this clone the peloric traits are seen at the base of the petals and because of them they (the petals) are wide open which is not the case in the regular flowers of the species.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.... For me the vivid color contrast and form are outstanding. Once again, Mauro, your flowers and photographic talents are a work of art of which you should be very proud!

I say I love it!!!

Actually Doc .. I don't care for most pelorics but this one is indeed pretty even with it's slight mutation
(I think I said it better this time) ;) |
Dorothy, it is with my most sincere thoughts that I say this, I love this board and you and Susanne and all the others like you that make it so much fun to hang out here. What an absolute pleasure it is to not only get a first rate education but to have tremendous fun getting there! Where else could I reply to a thread with my questionable humor and have it come back to me in spades.....it makes my day, that's for sure!
:thankyou :thankyou :thankyou |
