Hello...just introducing myself
 

Hi,
I am excited about joining the orchid board!
I have raised orchids since I was a kid.
I have quite a large collection now. I have tons of cattleyas and phals. My real obsession is with odontoglossums, which are pretty challenging to grow here in AL! I have had a lot of help from Pat Hill of Strawberry Creek Orchids in CA, but I still have a lot to learn.
My newest obsession is paphs. I have been doing semi-hydro with them for the past couple of years, and have been enjoying them much more as a result. Reading Ray's posts has DEFINITELY helped me along!
Anyway, just thought I would say "hi".
I look forward to learning from you guys, and hopefully throwing in my 1 1/2 cents worth every once in a while!

Welcome and I hope you throw all 2 cents (not just partial) into your responses. Sounds like you have a bit to contribute and we all like to learn. Most of us consider ourselves learners here.

Sound like you got it going on in the orchid world!
Please include some of your pictures; we never get tired of seeing orchid pictures! I myself have a hard time getting the oncidium alliance plants to rebloom as I do not have a cool wall. Can you please give me some of the pointers that you have learned? I'm down here in Houston, Texas.
