Bulbophyllum in S/h : do you cover the rhizome ?

Hello everyone,

A newbie question about Bulbophyllum in S/H : I just repotted my B. wendlandianum last week in hydroton, the pseudobulbs had (and still have :bowing ) nice new roots growing.
I put some pellets on top of the rhizome between the pseudobulbs and today I noticed that the rhizome stays very wet. Is it ok or should I worry about rot ?
How deep do you keep your Bulbo in the pellets or do you keep them on top ?

As much as possible, keep the rhizomes at the surface, nut submerged. Just set the plant on top, and it will sink its roots in.

Thank you Ray ! I removed the few ones that where on top of the rhizome. Just on time I think because it was really wet...
