Cymbid seedlings
On my last trip to OZ in 2006 I brought back with me a compot of seedlings Yowie Rose 'vulcan' x Last Tango 'Gerserland'. I expected to get some variation in the flowers ,but they are mostly like peas in a pod with the only differences in the lips . Two of the pics are taken at night the difference in coloring is amazing.

My godmother works in the Russian Tea Room and sometimes she brings home leftover flower arrangements from events held there. She brought a whole bucket full of cut stems from this orchid. They are GORGEOUS!! I took some home and they lasted a long time in a vase.

I love cyms but it is too hot for most of them for me. Very nice growing. I love this color also. Many years ago cyms were a favorite for womens corsages. I can see why.

Thats a very nice looking cross. It looks like its not registered yet. Wish I had one but it is composed of species that would be doubtful to bloom in my growing conditions. Great job growing it. Harry |
Thanks all.
Harry what laws do you have in the USA with regards to the importation of orchlds? |
Des,
Not really into the import laws. I brought a collection back from the Philippines many years ago but was able to be on both ends of the shipment. It was complicated enought that I have not tried it again. The last time I looked into import it was expensive. |
:yikes: Des they are beautiful! congratulations! I love the deep colors
