Mounting on Wood Plaques
 

:hello - just found this site and am so glad I did. I recently decided to start living one of my dreams of a house full of orchids (grew up with a father with a greenhouse full of them!). I have some plants that should be mounted - and there are so many choices. So far I haven't seen any posts for mounting on wood plaques. Any one have any experience or input? Thanks.

You don't want to use anything that gives off it's sap, like pine. Cypress seems to work best :)

What types of orchids are in the collection? Which are you planning on mounting? We'd love to see some pictures
