Question about a Laelia milleri sheath

My milleri never bloomed under my care so I don't know if I should adjust anything to promote it...it has a sheath, bigger than the ones it had in past years and I can see there's something growing inside of it but it's growing slowly.
My question is: what is "normal" for this species? Do the blooms inside the sheath grow slow or they are fast?

I have it outside, with day temps between 25 and 30ºC (77 to 86 F) and RH around 40% avg.

During the night temps are between 13 and 18ºC (55 to 65 F) and RH between 85 and 95%).

It gets really bright shade during the morning and full sun during the afternoon. I was growing it under full sun even in summer but in the habitat it grows in bright shade and in summer the sky is overcast most of the days. So this summer I decided to cut the light.
I have been watering it every two days.

Advise needed!:)

If something appears to be growing inside ----- such as a bud, then that is promising. What is important is probably just history --- as in whether the orchid was flowering size. Maybe all it needed is just time for growing and getting strong enough to do the sheath growing and the bud development. If it is at the bud development stage right now, then that will be very nice. Hoping it is a bud in there, and we get to see the nice flower(s)!

No changes so far!

rbarata - that's ok. The main thing is that the orchid keeps producing the good healthy looking sheaths. And it certainly looks like if the health of this plant is maintained, then we're going to see flowers from this one. The fact that this sheath is bigger than the last one is some indicator that this one is definitely getting there.

The sheath remains the same...it's still green with something inside but it didn't developed anything so far.
But there's a new growth, as usual in this time of the year.

Update on this one...the sheath is now dry as I was unfortunately expecting.
But the new growth, that is now a lot bigger, has a small sheathI'm starting to think, after giving it what it needs, that it never bloomed because it's a late bloomer plant (I got it as a single bareroot pbulb).
Maybe this sucession of sheaths indicated that it is finally established after all these years.
