hey hive mind,

curious as to your thoughts on this capsule/plant. the pic is showing 4 of our current maturing capsules that are approximately the same age. the plant in question on the far left is the wossner mucke, crossed with germaine vincent (the youngest capsule of the four shown, btw). clearly you can see how much larger the cap is, with a measured length of about 12 cm, with the other 3 caps avg at around 5.5cm. also, it is clear that this plant has flowers that i measured at an average of 2.5cm larger than its sibling. like, quite noticably larger. so, is this compelling evidence to suggest it is a 4n plant? are there other examples of wierdly large phal capsules? anybody got data on avg hybrid phal cap size?? appreciate any thoughts...

I am not aware that capsule size would be affected by ploidy.

thanks for the input, ray! so, it's just a wierd cap! well, hopefully it makes some babie one day and maybe the offspring will be just as wierd!! but hopefully not 3n....
