Do I need to repot my dendrobium?
 

Hey there! I’ve had this dendrobium for a while now, and it’s doing wonderfully. I was wondering if I need to repot it into a slightly larger pot because it is growing a new cane to the side. I’ve heard they like to be kind of root bound and in smaller pots, however I just want to get someone else’s opinion and help me decide. There’s an image of it below. I have a pot that is a little bit wider and much taller, however I can shorten it if needed

They like to be pot bound. It has room for, at least, two more years.
