What insect is this?
This guy has been living among the roots of my tenebrosa.
Does anybody knows what it is? https://i.postimg.cc/7GzBJQZm/20210919-223413.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/1VZvGcgP/20210919-223428.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/LgBNNYfP/20210919-223532.jpg |
It's what's called a true bug. I don't know which species. Most of them eat plants. A few bite humans. The parasite Trypanosoma is carried by a true bug.

So I must get rid of it!
|
Regardless, it's one nasty looking bug. Getting rid of it would be the ONLY option at this house! Eeewwww.

Thanks for the links, ES.
This seems to be a Centrocoris variegatus, a sap-suckling. |
