Phalaenopsis with thin limp patch
Hello everyone!
I was hoping you could help me figure out what my phalaenopsis might be suffering from? She's got a thin limp patch on the upper side of one of her leaves - kind of looks like something has been eating away at it. Underside looks normal to me (there's a blister there which has been there forever, no other change). Also slightly worried that her leaves have taken on a slightly yellowish hue. I think the roots look healthy but I'm very much a novice in this so I might be mistaken. I've done the tissue test and as far as I can tell, all that's coming off is dust. I did squish a small bug that was on her flowers - could that be it? But I would have expected there to be more than one, considering the size of the patch. Any advice on how I can help my orchid? (I don't think I'm allowed to post pictures :( ) |

If you reply to each of Camille's and my messages, you will be up to 3 total. Then go reply to 2 other people in other threads and you'll have 5 messages.
What you describe can be caused by sunburn, insects eating leaves, too-cold water dripping on leaves and other causes. Photos will help. |
Thank you for your replies! I managed to ask some groups on facebook and it looks like it's sunburn so I've moved her.
