Success with Java Moss in Terrariums?

I have a bunch in my aquarium. I keep hearing that it's a possibility in the damp environment of a terrarium. Thoughts? Experience?

it can be done--

you see it a lot in terrariums. use it sparingly and to soften hardscape elements as it does not grow as vigorously as it does in the water

A little late with noticing your thread.

It does fairly well growing emersed in a couple of my small terrariums. I keep a small layer of H2O underneath the java moss. Also kept in a humid environment under good light. Photo below shows an example (foreground - in front of the log). Have a little bit of peacock moss (can't keep up with all the scientific name changes, so I'm not sure if it is considered a Taxiphyllum or Vesicularia species anymore) mixed in with the java moss. A couple sprigs of sphagnum are growing to the left.
