Tolumnia sylvestris (I think) and unidentified orchid, Dominican Republic

I found them while hiking near a river. I found several specimens of the tolumnia growing on trees. The other one I found growing on the ground in between rocks very close to the river and it didn't seem to have any leaves.

Ooooooo! Aaaahhhhh! Tolumnia in the wild... Love It!

I think the second one is a Bletia (not Bletilla). :)
edit: I think it is Bletia patula (whose range includes the Dominican Republic). :) |
