That's a cutie, Sue. I can't get mine to grow, but you are in Florida, so there must be hope for me! I thought they cool growers???? Congrats on such a cute bloom! :)

Beautiful, Sue! I sure hope those Masdies do well for you - they're such awesome plants!!
|
OK First let me say
Second, M. triangularis is a cool to intermediate and M. vargasii is an intermediate. So if I had to guess, which I am, I would say to grow it with 50-56 F at night and 55-68 in the day. Very nice Sue!! I love these Hybrids. Masdies are probably the one genus I would not mind having so many hybrids. :) |
Hey! (/udb)
I found a spike and bud on this today!!! The bloom above came from a plant that was in bud when I got it. The new spike/bud means that I can grow these guys!!! Tin, my temps get higher than those numbers. I now have all of these IN Komoda Masdies inside the house, in the Exo-Terra tank as it was way too hot for them outside. In the tank, they get a temp of about 78 degrees with the light on and the fan blowing. All the other Masdies are fresh out of their compots so it'll be a while but they all look great! I am SO excited!!! Will post pics as soon as this baby opens! :bananaslide: |
Sue, What great news!! I'm so very happy that these are doing well for you. Its wonderful! Can't wait to see that flower!
|
Wow Sue! Congrats! You really are giving me hope here. :)
