Phalaenopsis fasciata leaves with weird patterns

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everyone,

I was just misting my plants today and I noticed these weird patterns on the leaves of my P. fasciata which seems to be making the leaves transparent/drying up. This is my first time encountering such an issue.

The plant was placed by the window sill with a north facing receiving direct muted sunlight and constant wind movement. Humidity will be high due to neighbouring plants and humidity trays (plus I am living in a tropical country).

Can anyone provide some guidance? Thanks in advance!

That is odd, but the first thing that comes to mind is that the roots are bad and the plant is desiccating.

Or being bit by some type of insect?

i thought it was some type of fungal attack, sure ive seen plants before with similar leaf patterns. i could be wrong though.

I have repotted the plant because the previous batch of moss was too compacted and have removed the dead roots. It was just fine 2 weeks ago!:(

Tried to find any signs of insects but nothing!

I was thinking of that too or maybe a virus. I have isolated the plant and sprayed hydrogen peroxide on the leaves. Hoping for the best. Was really looking forward to the flowers on this one.

My thought was also virus...

The tendency toward ring-shaped patterns really suggests virus for me.
