Live sphagmum moss as top cover?
 

Is it a bad idea to use live moss as top cover. I covered the top of my dendrochilum with moss to help keep the moisture in. Any thoughts

:twocents:I have 4 dendrochilums and need to water them freq. Three are in bark and 1 in moss. I don't think a cover of moss would be beneficial. Other than their water requirements,they prefer being potbound also. Dendrochilum - Introduction is a useful site. :)
