V. Wirat First time Blooming
 

Came back from my travels to see this one in its last stages of blooms with only a few blooms left on the spike. I was very pleasantly surprised as this is a small plant and young. This was its first spike ever and the blooms were enormous and flat as can be! 6 inches and above and gorgeous to boot. This is definitely a new fav of mine and one that shows great promise for the next blooming cycle. :biggrin:

Me too! its like it was holding on for me. Because As a got home the flowers left just started fading within a day. :)

In fact, I have a pachara delight pink on the way right now because I dream of having a vanda continually in bloom like your yard. Mine have to be inside because of weather, but it is nice to walk into the grow area and see some spikes! Right now I am waiting for the blooms to open on my Manuvadee. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have a pink PD too! We call her 'Pandora', she was in flower in July and is now in spike again; oddly enough the spike is at the base. I have 2 PD FCC/Joga and PD 'Isabella' which I can't wait for them to spike!
I'm eager to see your manuvadee bloom! Its a quality hybrid with very erect spikes which can be huge!

The picture from the grower in Thailand looked great which is why I got it, but its even better than I thought in person.
