Are you applying enough food? I've read they are heavy feeders when they're young.

hmmm, I had a problem with my cats this year...I only had 3, one 3 year old and a couple ferals that live in the house with us about 8 year old brothers...they were all too dang LAZY! eat and sleep!
so, I thought they were getting too complacent so I added a young female kitten in the mix....the 3 boys are all neutered young and the little girl was fixed soon after I adopted her....

sure enough, action ensued! the boys slimmed down, and little princess widdie kitty is the queen bee, lol.... they all love to race thru the house with widdie in front or bringing up the rear...

I do love my kitties!

widdie love her fern, and my 3 year old tom 'adopted' her right away, I think he believes he is her big brother, as they are the same color, lol

That's a good way to enliven the household, donoharm. I've had it backfire though. I have to say, girl, mighty cute kitties, mighty cute!
