Default Is dendrobium ready to repot?

I've had this den for 6 weeks now, has had amazing blooms which most have now fallen. I've seen a few very tiny bugs when I've watered so really want to give it a repot and into S/H, there's also some new growth which looks like it's been planted the wrong way round as they're close to the edge. Am I safe to repot now or should I wait until all the blooms have dropped?

This is a Den nobile type hybrid. They require:

No fertilizer from Sept 15 thru Feb
Very little water from Oct 15 thru bud initiation (= Jan or so).

Is that doable in SH?

Nobile types do best in small pots, so plant does not need repotting, unless the old mix is breaking down.

I was going to change the media as it looks broken down, also has bugs in it! Was going to use the same pot just clean things up a bit.

I don't want to hijack this thread - but I have the same question. When do I repot my dendrobium nobile? (Red Emperor "Ember").
3 large blooms opened already, more to come, & a 2" keiki (root tips only at this point, maybe 2mm).
This plant has two new growths at the base & one of them is "distorting" the pot.

Once the flowers are all over, repot. Do not just harvest a keiki, but harvest the whole cane that it is on, as the difference in growth is unbelieveable.

I like my dens on mounts. They do seem to do much better.

The bigger Den nobiles are too tall for mounts, so I welded these up so they could stay upright but have their roots in a 'saucer' of moss.

Thank you for your replies, very helpful, my first time with a den and I bought it at a discount. I was amazed by how many blooms it had, even on the old canes. Excited now that there's 4 new ones pushing through.
