In the case of a double bloomer do they grow two pbulbs each year?
Or more if it's happy and it's in the genetics. If it is one of those double bloomers, it is also less fussy about repotting time since it has more than one rooting period.

Whereas the species generally produce growth once a year, many hybrids continue making one new growth after another, while conditions are correct. Some hybrids can bloom 3-4 times a year if kept warm and bright.

My LC Siamese Doll has proven to be a twice a year bloomer, spring and fall. It does as you suggest, rbarata, maturing a growth in approx. 6 months and starting the next pretty much immediately.
