Can I use a concentrated fertilizer solution instead of superthrive? Male
Question Can I use a concentrated fertilizer solution instead of superthrive?

I am going to repot my Brassidium, and I am wondering if I can substitute a concentrated/mildly diluted fertilizer for superthrive. If not, is there anything else I can do?

Fertilizer and Superthrive are two completely different products. Superthrive contains hormones and vitamins but no nutrients. Fertilizer contains the nutrients required for growth. It's not necessary to use anything when you repot. If you want to use something, I like to use a root stimulating product like liquid seaweed, KLN or Dip n' Grow but it isn't necessary. I don't think a fertilizer mix when repotting will do anything at all.

It's not neccesary to use anything when you repot. Not even potting mix.
