Repotting Phalaenopsis Seedling
Default Repotting Phalaenopsis Seedling

Hello.

I received last week two Phalaenopsis that i ordered.

One of them is a seedling, can i repot this one with this product:

Atami Hydro Rokz

(Sorry, i can't post the link, it says:
"New posts are limited by number of URLs..." )

The seedling is potted with sphagnum moss and i dont like the sphagnum, it doesn't dry out, i mean; it is always wet.
The leaves are the main concern, they are still yellow and i am starting to worry.

Thank You

I have never heard of the product mentioned. If the seedling is very small, I would simply put it in fine fir bark with about 20% perlite. If larger, I would tend toward a larger percentage of medium fir bark.

There are a thousand orchid potting products out on the marked and pushed by hundreds of vendors. Some work, most do not and will disappear in a few years. Learn the requirements of your orchid and proceed with knowledge and caution.
