Question Mushrooms on mount

I wasn't quite sure where to put this, so I hope this will do and sorry if it isn't at the right place.

I just received an order and discovered this :Mushrooms on mount-dsc_0008-jpg
So I'm thinking I have three options : 1 let it be, 2 take the mushrooms off and keep the orchid on the mount, or 3 re-mount.
Here are my arguments for each option.
1 - I don't want to have the spores of these mushrooms going on my others mounts and making mycelium on them too. (It's not really an option I'm considering.)
2 - The mount itself would be degraded faster by the mycelium, but on the other hand it's might be in symbiosis with my orchid and it will be an indicator of the humidity maintained around it i.e. too much watering.
3 - It's a good way to get rid of the mushrooms & mycelium, but the roots seem to like this mount (they are also on and around the mushrooms so it might be introduced on the new mount too).

So I guess what I'm asking is (and I know it's a common question but) should I repot this little one? Or did you ever introduced mushrooms in a terrarium and what happened?

PS: They seem like common saprotrophic mushrooms we can often see on dead/dying wood.

Never had this happen but I would opt for #2, & try to be careful removing the mushrooms. Maybe wetting the mount before cutting them off to try and keep the spores in the mushrooms. IDK jus my, Hopefully someone whos had to deal with your issue will chime in and advise what they have done.

GL,

Judi

Remove, and treat with Physan or bleach to discourage the rapid degradation of the mount by the fungus.

I find that one ounce per gallon is pretty effective
