Default Is it true that Angraecums are fussy with repotting?

I've heard that Angraecums like to sulk for years after their roots are disturbed. For people with experience repotting angraecoids, is this really true? I had to repot a didieri after my cats knocked it off the counter.

They produce roots much better with high humidity and warm temperatures.
