Hi Ray
To fertilize my orchids, I use less than a 1/4 tps of RepotMe granular MSU per gallon.
It is hard to keep a temperature at 55F-59F at night when the orchids are indoors but I will definitely leave them past the November month.

i think that the pot is not the issue- i would increase total light gradually.

it is the only area you seem to be not meeting their needs
