Default Repotting Dendrobium Victoria reginae: can I use oncidium potting mix

I want to repot my Dendrobium Victoria reginae. I've never had a Dendrobium before. Can I use oncidium mix?
Is there anything else I should add? It's done well since I got it 4 months ago, with three new growths since it stopped blooming. But top of pot looks like moss, and I'm anxious to repot.

For classical type Dendrobium, I always use scoria (lava rock) anywhere from 10 mm to 20 mm average diameters. And I always use a very good drainage opaque plastic pot - good sized holes on the bottom of the pot (as well as along the bottom perimeter/edge of the pot if possible).

I got one of these a month ago. Mine is in sphagnum too. I spoke to the grower and she said that these do not like to dry out completely. I’m not sure what I’ll eventually repot mine into, but if it continues to do well in sphagnum, I may just stick with moss.

Mine is mounted, but with a big pad of spaghnum moss. So I think moss is a good medium for this species. Even though it may lose leaves from older canes, it does not want a dry rest period. I have heard from people who know, that they are somewhat sensitive to water quality. I had one die when I was using city water, I have one now that is thriving and growing using RO. (Where I live, I can grow it outside all year, it is cold-tolerant) So I have to strongly suspect that the advice I received about water quality was valid.

I grow this in Moss/bark mix and it was doing fine until I moved to a place with less than ideal water quality. Since then it has been sulking...
