So cute! It’s such a happy looking little flower Mine struggled through the summer but survived. A couple of spikes, no blooms though. It’s going indoors next year

Congrats! It's such a little cutie!

Mine had a bunch of spikes but then got all pouty a blasted them when I moved - I feel your frustration and pain.

Keep it in a humid environment and the flowers are less likely to blast.

Dracula lotax is the proper binomial name of this species. The lotax portion of the name does not need to be in quotations nor capitalized. Just a FYI.

Otherwise - awesome flower.
