Hi all,

I submit pictures of the second bloom for me of this hybrid. This second bloom is much better, having better symmetry and shape. The sepaline tails did not separate but I think that is a good thing.

Again this is a hybrid between Masdevallia ignea x Masdevallia ayabacana

I'm enough of a beginner with orchids that I don't know much about the nuances that go into judging how close a bloom comes to approaching the standards of perfection. I just know what beautiful is to me, and this is a nice example!

The blooms are still out,
officially lasting longer than my M. regina.

I somehow missed seeing this beauty the first time so I am glad that popped up again to give me another chance. How nice that the blooms last a while so you can continue to enjoy its beauty. Thanks for sharing!
