It's not likely you will need to remount to a larger mount for a while. It may produce a lot of leaves, but they do not grow that many roots.
And, yes, they can bloom within the time span you mentioned.
Usually, they produce one flower per inflorescence, but they are sequential bloomers. Once all the flowers have fallen off and the inflorescence dries out, you will see the comb-like inflorescence from which the flowers are blooming sequentially on.
