My new favorite hybrid. Smells like cloves, or maybe some kind of herbal root beer? Extremely fragrant and charming. Also quite floriferous, excelling with 28 flowers this year.

Also, one of its parents is also blooming today. Masd. strobelii. A white and orange flower with similar glandular hairs

Intermediate, moist, medium light (brighter than phalaenopsis), and very humid.

The secret to doing well with these seems to be the brighter light and high humidity. I grow them about 80% humidity.

You maintain that humidity level how? In a terrarium?

Sort of. I grow all my plants in a custom shelf enclosure. It is a stainless steel shelf that has a plastic cover built around it to keep humidity in.

These are not windowsill plants. They need to be grown in a terrarium-type enclosure to have success with them.
