I haven't, admittedly, read all the posts, but have you checked out Masd. oscitans from Andy's? They are listed as a true warm grower on his site and orchidspecies.com. Andy also has them listed as an easy grower. They might be worth a shot! I just ordered one.

Here in central NJ, I manage to grow Imposter,oscitans,portillae,menatoi,Redwing(infrac ta x coccinea) and Claret Chalis(uniflora x maculata)Gypsy. Most gotten from Andys and J&L(sold?). Grown in south window over humidity trays with restrepias. If temps get too toasty in summer,I just put them on table next to window and keep air moving,keeping AC to a minimum.
