Hello everyone,

first let me introduce myself. My name is Florian and I'm from germany (so, apologies for some english mistakes).
I've been only growing orchids for about a year now. I am mostly interested in cool to cold growing cloud forest species and miniature and micro miniature plants. I dont have a big collection to look at right now but the number is growing steadily.
Recently, I purchased a plant from ebay. I've been looking for this species for a while. It is a Pleurothallis yupanki (Syn.: Incaea yupanki, Phloeophila yupanki and Dryadella yupanki - at least we can be shure about the 'yupanki', right

) Anyway the plant came in REALLY bad. There are only a few healthy leaves left. Now, It's my task to nurse it back to health.
Because this plant is not so common in cultivation, it is really hard for me to find some culture information. I know that it is a cool to cold growing micro mini lithophyte. It came mounted on a treefern mount covered in live moss.
For now, I have placed it inside of a terrarium with high humidity, daytime temperatures of 22°C (72°F) and nighttime temps of about 16°C (61°F). The treefern is touching some moist Sphagnum moss at the bottom of the viv. The xaxim slowly wicks the water up, so the plant has even moisture around the roots.
What do you think about this setup? I would be very thankful for further information on this species and its care. How do you grow it?
As I said, my plant is by far not the best to start with, but I would be very sad to loose this plant because it is quite hard to find around here

.
Thanks everyone!
Greetings,
Flo
