Masd. Copper Angel 'Copper Sunset' AM/AOS
Default Masd. Copper Angel 'Copper Sunset' AM/AOS
This is my one and only masdevallia. It normally only has one or two blooms at a time, but it now has 8 flowers and several buds! I got it at Akatsuka in Volcano, HI, a couple of years ago. It lives under the canopy of giant tree ferns in Volcano at 3600 ft elevation in the cloud forest, where it is always cool and wet. It gets about 150 inches of rain (which includes drip) a year. I'm surprised it hasn't drowned!
