Default Restrepia trichoglossa (spotted form)

This is Restrepia trichoglossa (spotted form). I really like this species. This one is mounted and kept moist. I have three restrepia and so far this is my most successful. It has had 4-6 blooms on it at a time. They last about a week. There are more buds ready to open and more spikes coming too. You can see it is a relatively small plant and the flowers are large for the size of the plant. That is a US Quarter for scale.

And the picture doesn't do the colors justice. My Restrepia Iris is brown with chartreuse striping. These little guys are quickly becoming my favorites.

Oh Carrie...hope I can find more at the Rutgers show to add to what I have! Have had luck with these and some masd. so it's either my great culture or the cooler(?) weather is agreeing with them! Love yours.
