Masdevallia coccinea 'Best Red'
Bought this Masdevallia in April in the European Orchid Show, and managed to make it bloom successfully. I was so nervous thinking that it might abort the bud as another Masd coccinea that I got blasted unfortunately. In the photo, the color looks bright red, but in reality it is deep red. It is very difficult to capture the color in a photo.

Update
It has been 3 weeks since the flower opened and the plant is still keeping it despite we had some hot days here in the UK. The flower has slightly changed its shape. The lateral sepals have separated from each other slightly and the dorsal sepal rose upward.
