I think the lighting in the first set of photos is better. I will try again when more of the blooms are open - it has just been sooooo dark and gloomy here for the past few weeks.

Very nice . Did you shift the position of the plant in between flowering?. I understand more light makes the leaves greener and the flower stems shorter. There would also I suspect a possible colour shade change.
It would be interesting to know.

Summer temps vary quite a bit, but generally it will be around 22C during the day, down to 16C at night. It does get warmer sometimes, but my masdies sit under a cool, sheltered overhang on the balcony with plenty of fresh air. Humidity is usually around 70-75%.

Wowy, I hope to see these again soon. I finally have a better set up and my Masdies are doing much better. Might even be a bit cold just now.
