Thought I'd shared what I'm using to keep the humidity high for this plant. Two vases, one inverted over leaves... This increases humidity but still allows air exchange along the sides.... Let's see how this works... Orchid in a glass case!

Leslie, this set up will not cause the leaves to be too wet? Also, can you raise your camera up a bit and photograph the Neo on top of the vase? Thanks. That is a lovely pot, I'd like to see its occupant too.

Hi Matt, yes this set up will keep leaves wet and may need to come off a couple hours a day ... The neo in the white pot is the Kochonomai I posted on the neo section. Good eye though Matt!

I just saw your Kochonomai posting in Neofinetia. Thanks for that post too!

Hi,

Are you actually planning on growing this plant like this? If this is the case I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You will kill it.

That is an amazing plant. Thank you for posting. It certainly should be propagated. I can understand J&L holding it closely until now, but since they are selling off and you have one of the first pieces distributed you now share the responsibility for this orchid legacy.

I will uphold the the conservation of this species for survival and propagation of this beautiful orchid... Oh gosh, rare orchid, BIG responsibility!

Leslie, the best way you can ensure the survival of this plant is to sell me one of these plants. Please put me on your sell list! LOL

And what is your surroundings? There is more or less zero air movement in that setup and this type of Lepanthes is very sensitive for lack of air movement and water logging on the leaves.
