Brightly colored and scented! What more could anyone ask?

Oh, how gorgeous! The first thing that came to mind was that they look like purple moustaches! I didn't know Masdies could be scented - like you say, what more could you want?

There are quite a number of them that are scented especially in the Saltatrices section, some very strongly like M. strobelii.

Thanks for the info, I'll investigate a bit further. I've only taken a leap into these this year when I got three a few months ago, so I'm still learning

That is one I'll keep in mind! It looks about the right size for a terrarium. Do you remember the vendor you got it from?

What a pretty little thing! I just may try one of those someday.
I have a masd. Andean Prince which has so far been a disappointment.

Cute, capricious looking, thing . I wouldn't mind having one like that, especially with purple blooms and scented, but I haven't gotten into masdies yet. Don't really know if I can grow these.

I think it came from Ecuagenera. Thanks for commenting.
